The Praxis Cohort · Cohort I · Healthcare Founders
What will you stop doing by hand?
A four-session, hands-on cohort for early-stage healthcare founders and their teams. Each company brings one piece of work it repeats every week. You leave with that work handed to AI, built safely on data your company is allowed to use, with the numbers to show what it saves.
Applications close November 9 · Eight companies · Four sessions, November 17 to December 14, virtual
I · The Format
One workflow, all the way through.
Every company picks one real workflow in the first session and carries it through all four. Each session moves it one stage forward, from choosing it, to making it safe, to making it reliable, to proving it on real work. Between sessions, we review every company's progress so nobody reaches the last session having built the wrong thing.
Bring the teammate who does that work by hand today. A workflow built by the founder alone tends to stop running the week the founder gets busy. Every session is worked on your own real workflow.
II · The Sessions
Four sessions. Two hours each.
Live and virtual. No session falls in Thanksgiving week, and the last one ends before the holidays. Plan on two to three hours of work between sessions.
Choose
Pick the work, and define done before you build.
Every company scores the work it repeats each week and picks one workflow to take off someone's plate. Some of that work wants plain automation and no AI model at all. Some needs AI with a person checking. Some needs a person, with AI preparing the page. You name two candidates on the application and leave this session with one confirmed, its shape, and a written definition of what working means before anything is built.
Make it safe
Health information, who can see it, and the first build.
You map where every piece of data in your workflow goes. You list every service that touches it, the company that runs that service, the people on your team who use it, and whether a business associate agreement is signed. We cover what counts as protected health information, which vendors will sign that agreement, where an AI model can run, and what real companies paid when this went wrong. The second half is hands-on, and you leave with a first version running on safe data.
Make it reliable
How often it is wrong, who catches it, and what it costs.
You score your workflow against real past examples with known right answers. The steps that must always come out the same move into plain code. You decide which outputs a person checks every time and which can run alone, and you price the whole thing per month against the hours it saves.
Prove it
Demos, numbers, and the handoff.
Each company shows its workflow running on a week of real work, with the time it took by hand beside the time it takes now. The workflow gets a named owner and a one-page runbook, and you pick the next workflow to take on in the 90 days after.
III · What You Leave With
- A workflow that runs
- on your own work, with a named owner on your team and a one-page runbook for when it goes wrong.
- Before and after numbers
- meaning the hours the work took by hand, the hours it takes now, how often it is wrong, and what it costs to run each month.
- A data map and an AI use policy
- showing where your data goes and which tools may see it. Buyers and investors increasingly ask for both.
- The next 90 days
- with your next workflow already chosen, a private office hour, and a cohort group that stays open after the last session.
IV · Who It Is For
Cohort I is for early-stage healthcare companies, from pre-seed through Series B. A seat is one company, meaning a founder plus the teammate who will run the workflow after the cohort ends. Investors and institutional executives are welcome to apply, and those applications are held for the cohorts that follow.
A seat can be paid for by the founder or by the fund or accelerator that backs them. If a fund is sponsoring you, name it on the application and we will invoice them directly.
You do not need to write code. Everyone builds inside an AI product the company has approved for its data. It is not a lecture, either. Sessions are worked, not watched.
V · Seats
- $2,500
